MIAMI, FLORIDA — Two social media influencers were removed from an American Airlines flight. They were arrested after causing a disturbance over seating arrangements. Sania Blanchard and Jordan Lantry were taken into custody on January 9 at Miami International Airport.
Dispute Over First-Class Seats
Witnesses state that Blanchard, 34, and Lantry, 31, boarded the aircraft while visibly intoxicated. The pair allegedly sat in the first-class cabin. They did not have tickets for that section. Flight crew members instructed them to move to their assigned seats. The women refused.
The situation escalated quickly. Airline staff contacted law enforcement. Blanchard wore a red tracksuit with the word "PSYCHO" on it. She was recorded yelling at responding officers.

Viral Stunt and Arrest
The confrontation created a spectacle in the terminal. Lantry dropped to the ground. She performed a split while officers attempted to detain her. She later joked about the move. She called it "a little yoga."
Both women were charged with misdemeanor trespassing after warning. They were booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Post-Arrest Social Media Posts
The pair used their platforms to publicize the incident after their release. They shared videos of themselves riding luggage in the terminal. They also mocked airline staff prior to the arrest.

The women have since released merchandise featuring their booking photos. Lantry also posted on social media. She encouraged others to start a "trend" of performing splits during arrests.
