New Jersey Woman, 25, Arrested After Recording Herself Sexually Abusing a Toddler-Aged Boy and Posting the Footage on Snapchat

July 14, 2026

  • Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, was arrested for allegedly recording herself sexually abusing a toddler and posting the footage on social media.
  • The abuse was discovered by her roommate after reviewing a cellphone Cranmer returned when she was kicked out.
  • Cranmer faces three serious charges, including manufacturing and possessing child sexual abuse material, as the investigation continues.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NEW JERSEY — Just over a month after a Syracuse father was sentenced to 40 years in prison for killing his own 11-year-old son, a case that left a judge openly saying even a life sentence was not long enough, another case involving the most vulnerable victims imaginable is making headlines just across the state line. A 25-year-old New Jersey woman has been arrested after allegedly recording herself sexually abusing a child young enough to be in diapers — then posting the footage on social media.

Victoria Anne Cranmer allegedly laughed while filming herself abusing the toddler-aged boy on Snapchat.

How It Came to Light

Victoria Anne Cranmer had been living with a roommate, identified in court records only as "Ms. P," in a home in Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County. At some point during that arrangement, Ms. P gave Cranmer a cellphone to use.

When Cranmer was eventually kicked out of the home, she returned the phone. Ms. P went through the device.

What she found on May 6, 2026, stopped her cold. A 14-second clip on the phone's Snapchat account showed Cranmer in the bathroom of the Little Egg Harbor home, laughing while sexually abusing a young boy. Ms. P immediately saved the video to her own phone, locked Cranmer out of the Snapchat account, and contacted authorities.

Victoria Anne Cranmer was booked into Ocean County Jail in Toms River, New Jersey, on July 8, 2026, following her arrest on multiple child sex crime charges.

The Investigation

Both the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and state authorities were alerted. Detectives seized the cellphone and obtained a search warrant to examine the device in full on May 28. The warrant turned up additional videos of Cranmer and the same boy in the bathroom.

Investigators identified Cranmer through multiple details visible in the footage — distinctive tattoos, including one on her leg, her voice, and the recognizable layout of the bathroom in her own home. At least one of the videos had been posted to Snapchat.

Court filings obtained by Patch describe the victim as a young boy under the age of 13 — and specifically reference the child as being in diapers, indicating he was a toddler at the time of the alleged abuse.

Victoria Cranmer had been babysitting the young boy as part of a living arrangement with his mother and another roommate at the Little Egg Harbor home where the abuse allegedly took place.

Warning Signs the Mother Noticed

During the time Cranmer lived in the home, she had frequently babysat both Ms. P's daughter and the young son of another woman, identified in court records as "Ms. H" — the boy's mother.

Ms. H had noticed changes in her son's behavior. He had begun acting differently and had developed a fear of baths — something that had not been present before. She later learned, according to court documents, that Cranmer had been bathing herself with the boy during the time she was looking after him.

What She Is Charged With

Cranmer was arrested on July 8, 2026, and booked into Ocean County Jail in Toms River. She faces three charges: endangering the welfare of a child, manufacturing child sexual abuse material, and possession of child sexual abuse material.

The investigation involved coordination between the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and state-level authorities. No information about a bail amount or court date has been publicly released as of the time of publishing.
