LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 20-year-old Allysandra Blea is accused of killing her boyfriend, Mark Gaughan, during a late-night photoshoot involving firearms. The shooting took place around 1:30 a.m. on August 23, when Gaughan was photographing Blea as she posed with a gun beside a car. At some point during the session, the weapon discharged, striking Gaughan. He died at the scene.

According to investigators, Blea said she believed the firearm was unloaded and insisted the shooting was not intentional. She also admitted she had no formal gun safety training.

When detectives searched her social media, they found extensive posts and images showing her obsession with firearms. She frequently wrote about her love of guns, her desire to grow her collection, and even expressed violent fantasies, including remarks about shooting “people in the face.” Other posts showed her aiming pistols, rifles, and revolvers, sometimes pointing them at her own head or at stuffed animals. She even has a bullseye tattooed on her chest.

On August 26, following consultation with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, Blea was taken into custody and booked on a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon. She remains in jail without bail and is scheduled for a court appearance in early September.
