BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON — Body-worn camera video from Dec. 12, 2025 shows the moments prosecutors say Mohamed Morray Bangura pulled a knife and attacked officers at the Bellevue Transit Center after allegedly placing a fake 911 call to draw police to the location.

In the video, officers speak with Bangura before he motions to the side, pulls a knife from his jacket pocket, and lunges. One officer steps back, but a second officer moves in and is slashed in the face and stabbed, according to charging documents.

Prosecutors Allege Fake 911 Call Was the Setup

Investigators allege Bangura called 911 just after noon on Dec. 12 and described a bogus situation while asking dispatch to send “an officer or two” to the transit center. When officers arrived, they spoke with a man later identified as Bangura, who acknowledged making the call, documents say.
