
NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA — Mordehay Grunberger, 71, died early Friday morning following an industrial accident at the South Florida Kosher Market where he was employed.
Officers with the North Miami Beach Police Department were called to the grocery store, located at 1324 Northeast 163rd Street, after Grunberger became entangled in an industrial dough-mixing machine. Investigators report the incident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m.
Investigative Findings
The North Miami Beach Police Department stated that there are currently no indications of foul play. Preliminary findings suggests the death was accidental.
"At this time, there are no signs of foul play and we believe the incident was accidental involving an industrial dough mixer," the department said in a statement.

Grunberger was a long-time employee of the South Florida Kosher Market, where he served as the head pastry chef. His professional background included extensive experience in bread making and pastry production.
The South Florida Kosher Market closed its doors on Friday following the discovery. Representatives for the market have not issued a formal comment regarding the specifics of the incident.
Grunberger is survived by his wife, Inna Gastman Maor, and two sons.
