BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI – A routine trip to the grocery store turned into a nightmare for shoppers in Mississippi after razor blades were discovered hidden inside loaves of bread. Police have arrested a Texas woman in connection with the disturbing tampering incidents that spanned two different Walmart locations.

A Sharp Discovery
The dangerous spree began on December 5 when a customer at a Walmart Supercenter reported finding a blade stashed inside a loaf they had purchased. The horror continued just three days later on December 8, when a second unsuspecting shopper at a nearby Walmart Neighborhood Market made the same terrifying discovery.
The situation escalated on Sunday after another customer complained, prompting employees to comb through the merchandise. Their search revealed a chilling reality: several more loaves on the shelves had been tampered with.

Charged with Mayhem
Authorities were alerted to the dangerous stunt on Monday and quickly released surveillance images of a person of interest. On Tuesday, police identified and handcuffed 33-year-old Camille Benson.
Benson has been charged with attempted mayhem, a charge that reflects the potential for severe physical injury. She is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.

Check Your Groceries
In the wake of the arrest, Walmart stated that the health and safety of their customers is a top priority and confirmed they have removed and thoroughly inspected all potentially affected products.
Law enforcement is urging anyone who bought bread from these specific locations to inspect their loaves immediately. Walmart has advised customers who find tampered products to throw them out and visit the store for a full refund.
