HONOLULU, HAWAII — Months after an athlete was charged with murder after allegedly gunning down a friend in a Tesla, another Tesla-related case has ended with a prison sentence. This time, Nathaniel Radimak, widely known as the “Tesla Road Rage Driver,” was sentenced to seven years in prison after a violent road rage attack in Hawaii.

Radimak, 39, was sentenced Thursday for a May 2025 incident involving a mother and her 18-year-old daughter in Honolulu.

Nathaniel Radimak was sentenced to seven years in prison for a road rage attack in Hawaii.

Road Rage Attack in Honolulu

According to police, the 18-year-old was parking in downtown Honolulu when she saw a gray Tesla drive past her.

The two sides allegedly exchanged words. Police said Radimak then got out of the Tesla and assaulted the teen and her 35-year-old mother before leaving the scene.

Authorities said he was driving a 2022 gray Tesla with Oregon license plates.

Radimak was arrested by Honolulu police the next day.

Sentenced to 7 Years

Radimak was charged with unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault. He pleaded no contest earlier this year.

During sentencing, Radimak said he took accountability and felt bad about what happened. He also told the judge he needed treatment and said the delay in getting help was not helping him.

Radimak was known as the “Tesla Road Rage Driver” after several attacks in California.

Judge Clarissa Malinao said Radimak had not sought the medical care he needed. She also said he used illegal substances while on parole for earlier crimes.

The judge said his history of violence and substance use made him a danger to the public.

Prior California Road Rage Cases

Radimak was already known in California for a series of road rage attacks.

He was sentenced in 2023 to five years in prison after pleading guilty to assault, vandalism, elder abuse, and making criminal threats. Some of those incidents were caught on camera.

Radimak was known for driving a Tesla and using a pipe to attack other drivers’ vehicles. Several of the victims in the California cases were women.

He was released after serving less than a year of that five-year sentence.

Radimak previously pleaded guilty in California to assault, vandalism, elder abuse, and criminal threats.

Assaulted After Hawaii Arrest

After his arrest in Hawaii, Radimak was reportedly attacked by other inmates. Photos showed him in a wheelchair with visible injuries to his face.

The Hawaii case now sends him back to prison for seven years.

For prosecutors and victims, the sentence marks another chapter in a long pattern of road rage violence tied to Radimak.
