PORTAGE COUNTY OHIO – Bigfoot researcher Mike Miller is tracking something massive through the gloomiest corners of Ohio after terrified locals reported finding enormous footprints and hearing bloodcurdling howls in the dead of night. Residents across Portage County are locking their doors as rumors spread that a family of Sasquatches has moved into the area following a brutal winter.
The Beast Returns
The sightings started piling up in March with footprints popping up in the muddy terrain between Akron and Youngstown. Witnesses are finding tracks measuring an unbelievable 17 inches long. Experts point out that prints of this size belong to something standing over seven feet tall.
The brave few who actually saw the monster describe a massive figure completely covered in dark fur looming between six and ten feet in height. Ohio is no stranger to these encounters ranking fourth nationwide for Sasquatch sightings. The last time the area saw a panic like this was back in 1978 right after the devastating Cleveland Superbomb snowstorm.
Screams in the Dark
Mike Miller co founder of the Ohio Nightstalkers Bigfoot Research Group believes extreme weather is to blame. He suspects the intense winter storms flooded the deep woods and forced the creatures closer to civilization. Miller thinks the beast might be rearing its young or simply trying to scare humans out of its territory.
To back up his claims Miller captured audio of deep guttural screams echoing through the trees. He insists the terrifying noises do not match any known wildlife in North America and even register higher on audio equipment than a baboon.
A Chilling Encounter
The mystery caught the attention of podcast host Jeremiah Byron who is helping analyze the sightings. Byron shared a deeply unsettling account from two hikers who crossed paths with the beast. They noticed a bizarre physical trait when the creature looked at them. Instead of turning its neck the massive entity rotated its entire upper body and shoulders.
Byron noted this specific movement is a major red flag for seasoned Bigfoot trackers. One hiker confessed they knew what they saw but still could not wrap their mind around the terrifying reality. Even with smartphones in every pocket the monster remains a ghost leaving only footprints and screams in the night.
