Judge Snaps at "Dine-and-Dash Diva" as Influencer Trades Prada for Prison Scrubs

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – She posed online in furs, flaunted Louis Vuitton accessories, and ate at the city's most exclusive tables. But the glamorous façade of Pei Chung crumbled in a Brooklyn courtroom this Wednesday, revealing the "Dine-and-Dash Diva" for what she really is: a disheveled defendant in olive-green prison scrubs facing the wrath of a judge.

Pei Chung, 34, portrayed a lavish lifestyle of designer clothes and fine dining on social media, but police say it was all a criminal charade.

"When I Speak, You Don't!"

The high-fashion influencer, accused of skipping out on bills at New York City’s trendiest eateries, appeared unable to drop her entitled attitude even while in custody. As Judge Orville Reynolds attempted to proceed with the hearing, Chung repeatedly interrupted him, sparking a tense courtroom showdown.

"When I speak you don’t speak! Understand?!" Judge Reynolds finally snapped at the defendant. Chung, seemingly unfazed by the gravity of her situation, inexplicably replied, "That is not correct".

The "Dine-and-Dash Diva" is accused of skipping out on bills at some of New York City's trendiest restaurants, including Peter Luger and Francie.

A Serial Freeloader

Police say Chung’s appetite for luxury was matched only by her refusal to pay for it. She allegedly targeted at least eight different restaurants in a single month, racking up expensive tabs and vanishing before the bill arrived. Her targets included high-end hotspots like Francie, Lavender Lake, and the legendary steakhouse Peter Luger.

The "wannabe influencer" often flaunted a curated lifestyle online, posting alluring photos to project an image of luxury that prosecutors say was built on serial theft.

The spree reportedly came to an end after she tried to pull the stunt at Mole Mexican Bar and Grill in Williamsburg, attempting to walk out on a $149 check.

Chung's glamour faded in the courtroom where she appeared in olive scrubs and was scolded by a judge for repeatedly interrupting the proceedings.

Madness or Manipulation?

While her lawyer, Henry Dechalus, argued that photography should be banned in the courtroom to protect her "rights," the judge allowed the media to capture the influencer's fall from grace. Dechalus claims Chung does not understand the charges against her, leading to a court order for a psychological evaluation.

For now, the woman who once flaunted Hermes and Prada on Instagram remains at Rikers Island, having traded her couture for handcuffs.
