PACE, FLORIDA – Two Florida teenagers accused of a horrific execution-style murder will face the full force of adult court. Gabriel Williams, 16, and Kimahri Blevins, 14, have been indicted on first-degree premeditated murder charges for the brutal slaying of 14-year-old Danika Troy, whom they allegedly lured into the woods before shooting her and setting her body on fire.

A Deadly Deception
The nightmare began on November 30. Investigators say the boys tricked Danika into meeting them on a secluded wooded path near Pensacola. Danika's mother, Ashley Troy, revealed a heartbreaking detail: Gabriel Williams allegedly pretended to have a crush on her daughter to lure her into the trap.
"That’s how she was lured," Ashley said. "She just wanted to be in love." Instead, she walked into an ambush.

"You Set Her on Fire"
Authorities say the teens shot Danika multiple times before torching her body in a gruesome attempt to destroy evidence. Her remains were found two days later by a passerby, so badly burned that she could only be identified by her shoes and her electric scooter found nearby.
Sheriff Bob Johnson condemned the brutality, stating, "It’s bad enough that you kill a 14-year-old. You’re 14, you’re 16, you shoot her multiple times, and then you set her on fire."

Guardian Arrested on Drug Charges
The case took another dark turn when it was revealed that Jana Williams, Gabriel's aunt and legal guardian, was arrested on drug charges within hours of the murder. Police are investigating whether the handgun used to kill Danika was stolen from her.
Jana Williams was booked for felony drug possession and probation violation on December 1. A photo from 2022 shows her posing happily with Gabriel at Universal Studios, a stark contrast to the grim reality now unfolding.

A Mother's Grief
Ashley Troy is now left to face a Christmas without her daughter. "There’s an emptiness where we were once three and are now just two," she said. While she prays for the maximum penalty for the killers, she refuses to hate the boys themselves, blaming an "evil influence" instead.
Both suspects have been transferred to Santa Rosa County Jail and are being held without bond. If convicted, they could face life in prison.
