KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA — A 22-year-old physical education teacher has been arrested in Central Florida for allegedly sending inappropriate images and messages to a 13-year-old student. Authorities from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of Yezmar Angeanis Ramos-Figueroa on November 26, 2025, following a formal complaint and an ensuing investigation.

"Inappropriate Contact"
The investigation began in mid-October 2025, when the victim’s mother reported that her son had been engaged in questionable communication with one of his teachers. At the time, Ramos-Figueroa was working as a gym teacher at Central Pointe Christian Academy, a private school located in Kissimmee, just south of Orlando.
Detectives from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office interviewed the 13-year-old student and recovered digital evidence including text messages and photographs allegedly sent to the boy’s phone. While the exact content has not been publicly disclosed, authorities categorized the material as “obscene” and “harmful to a minor.” Law enforcement noted that there is currently no evidence of physical contact between the suspect and the student.

Suspect Allegedly Confessed
On November 26, Ramos-Figueroa was called in for questioning. During the interview, she reportedly admitted to texting the victim and sending at least one photo. Her statement was documented in an official press release from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. Based on this admission and the gathered evidence, she was taken into custody and booked into Osceola County Jail.
She now faces two felony charges under Florida law: distributing obscene material to a minor and transmitting harmful material to a minor. Both charges relate to the digital exchange that took place between the teacher and her 13-year-old student.

Legal Consequences
At this time, Yezmar Ramos-Figueroa remains in custody at the Osceola County Jail. She has not yet appeared before a judge, and no bond has been posted. It’s also unclear whether she has hired an attorney to represent her. Investigators say the case is still active, and they have not ruled out the possibility of uncovering more evidence.
So far, officials have not released any further details about the nature of the images or texts, and there's no indication of any physical relationship between the teacher and the student. As the case makes its way through the legal system, more information may come to light.
