DOUGLAS COUNTY, COLORADO – The father and three children killed in a Colorado collision involving a stolen vehicle were identified Wednesday by authorities, yet officials refuse to release the identity of the carjacker responsible for the deaths of a father and three young children.
The crash claimed the lives of Alvin Corado, 35, his children MaKenlee, 11, and Toretto, 8, along with their 12-year-old friend Jase Green. All four victims were from Colorado Springs and died on Monday after a man driving a stolen car swerved into oncoming traffic on Highway 83 in Douglas County.

A Stolen Car and a Fatal Mistake
The crash occurred on Monday afternoon along Highway 83. According to the Colorado State Patrol, the suspect was driving a Toyota hatchback reported stolen during a carjacking in Aurora just an hour earlier. Witnesses say the suspect lost control of the stolen vehicle, over-corrected, and rolled into the northbound lane.
The car smashed head-on into the Corado family's Ford sedan. The impact killed the suspect and four people in the other car instantly.

Identity Kept Secret
While the victims have been named, the 31-year-old suspect from Denver remains anonymous. The Douglas County Coroner’s Office told reporters they are withholding his name "at his family’s request." Police confirmed the man had a criminal history but declined to comment on his immigration status when asked by the press.
"She Remembered Every Moment"
Miraculously, Alvin’s 13-year-old daughter, Mia, survived the wreck along with another teenager. Mia suffered catastrophic injuries, including a broken back, fractured ribs, and a punctured diaphragm. Her mother revealed the heartbreaking moment Mia woke up in the hospital.

Despite her injuries, Mia asked where her father was. When told the news, she simply replied, "I know." Her mother shared that the teen was awake during the entire ordeal and remembers every terrifying detail of the crash that took her family.
