CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN — Eminem’s ex-wife, Kimberly Anne Mathers, pleaded no contest after prosecutors said she was impaired during a crash that sent a parked truck about 50 feet down a Michigan street. The case adds to recent Michigan driving-related incidents drawing public attention, including one where a Michigan veteran was left in a coma after an alleged road rage attack by a delivery driver.
Mathers, 51, was arraigned Monday in 42-2 District Court and immediately entered a no-contest plea to charges of operating while impaired and failing to report an accident.

The charges stem from a February 16 crash in Chesterfield Township.
Parked Truck Hit and Pushed Down Street
According to prosecutors, Mathers was driving a white Range Rover when she struck a parked silver Dodge Ram.
Officials said the force of the crash pushed the parked truck roughly 50 feet.
Reports said Mathers had left her home with her son, Parker, and three of his friends before the crash happened. Parker is Mathers’ son from a relationship after her marriage to Eminem.

Allegedly Left the Scene
Instead of stopping at the crash scene, Mathers allegedly drove back home.
Neighbors told TMZ she pulled into her driveway and then struck her garage door. Photos published by the outlet showed damage to the front of the white Range Rover and the garage area.
Investigators later determined that Mathers was impaired at the time of the crash and had failed to stop after the collision.
No-Contest Plea Entered
Mathers pleaded no contest to the charges on Monday.
Operating while impaired carries a maximum penalty of 93 days in jail, while failure to report an accident carries a maximum penalty of 90 days, according to local reporting.
Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido condemned impaired driving in a statement, saying it puts everyone on the road at risk.

Sentencing Scheduled
Mathers is scheduled to be sentenced on June 17 in Macomb County District Court.
She was previously married to Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers. The two were married twice, first from 1999 to 2001 and briefly again in 2006.
