LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — Authorities have revealed that the dismembered remains discovered inside a Tesla registered to recording artist D4vd belong to a woman whose identity is still unknown.
The grisly find was made late Monday after the car, abandoned on a Los Angeles street, was impounded and taken to a local tow yard. Workers investigating a foul odor alerted police, who uncovered the bagged and decomposed body in the vehicle’s trunk.

Investigators say the victim was wearing a tube top and black leggings and bore a distinctive “Shhhh” tattoo on her right index finger. She also had dark wavy hair, stud earrings, and a yellow bracelet. Officials hope these details will help in identifying her.
The cause of death has not yet been determined due to the advanced state of decomposition, but police are treating the case as a homicide.

The vehicle is registered to David Anthony Burke, better known as D4vd, a 19-year-old singer from New York who rose to prominence with the viral track Romantic Homicide. His representatives have stated he is cooperating fully with the investigation, though he has not commented publicly.
The shocking discovery has drawn widespread attention, intertwining a rising music career with a disturbing criminal mystery now at the center of a Los Angeles police probe.
