murder story

Tiago Henrique Gomes da Rocha, a former security guard, was a Brazilian serial killer who claimed to have killed 39 people. His murders took place between 2011 and 2014 in Goiás, Brazil. He targeted specific groups including homeless people, women, and homosexuals.

Gomes da Rocha would approach his victims on a motorbike. He would shout "robbery" as he shot them. Despite this, he never actually stole anything from them. Sixteen of the people he killed were female. The youngest victim was a 14-year-old girl, whom he murdered in January 2014.

In October 2014, he was arrested after police caught him riding a motorbike with a fake license plate. He had already drawn attention from police as he was facing trial for stealing a number plate. During the investigation, police found a stolen motorbike and a .38 revolver at his home, where he lived with his mother.

While in prison, he attempted suicide in October 2014 by cutting his wrists with a broken light bulb. In May 2016, he was convicted of 11 murders and received a sentence of 25 years in prison. Throughout his confession, he mentioned that he had been experiencing violent urges since he was 11 years old, following a traumatic event of sexual abuse he suffered as a child.
