Murder Story

On January 15, 1987, Terry Washington murdered Beatrice Louise Huling, who was the night manager at a restaurant called Julie's Place in College Station, Texas. After the restaurant had closed, Beatrice was preparing to finish her work when Terry attacked her. He stabbed her 85 times, which resulted in her death. The police discovered her body in a pool of blood inside the restaurant after finding her purse in the parking lot. They entered the building, where they found evidence of the brutal crime.

Terry was arrested on February 25, 1987, shortly after the murder. He was linked to the crime scene through physical evidence and witness testimonies. The investigation revealed that money had been stolen from the restaurant, further indicating that the murder was connected to robbery. Several witnesses stated they had seen Terry with a large amount of cash in the days following the murder.

Following a trial, Terry Washington was convicted of capital murder. The jury found him guilty and sentenced him to death. He was executed by lethal injection in Texas on May 6, 1997.
