2024Taleb bin Jawad bin Hussein Al-Abdulmohsen (born 5 November 1974) was born in Hufuf, Saudi Arabia. He came from a Shiite family in the Al-Ahsa Governorate. He studied medicine. He specialized in psychiatry and psychotherapy. In 2006 he moved to Germany to further specialize in psychotherapy. He applied for asylum in Germany and it was granted in 2016.
Taleb bin Jawad bin Hussein Al-Abdulmohsen (born 5 November 1974) is a Saudi-born former psychiatrist and suspected mass murderer. He is the suspect in the 2024 Magdeburg car attack, which killed six people and injured 338 others. He is known for his Islamophobic views, his anti-immigration stance, and his far-right political beliefs. He has described himself as a vocal critic of Islam in interviews.
Abdulmohsen relocated to Germany in 2006 to specialize in psychotherapy. He applied for asylum in Germany, and it was granted in 2016. In 2013, the Rostock District Court fined him for "disturbance of public peace through the threat of criminal acts."
Since November 2025, Abdulmohsen has been put on trial for six counts of murder and 338 counts of attempted murder.
