Murder Story

Silvio Mangion was involved in a series of murders in Malta. His first known victim was Rozina Zammit, a 54-year-old woman. On February 8, 1984, he stabbed her multiple times in her home. He was later found guilty of this murder and received a life sentence in 2010. He had stolen about Lm200 from Zammit.

Mangion admitted his role in two other murders. The second victim was Maria Stella Magrin, 68, who he killed on October 30, 1986. She was also stabbed in her home. Details of this crime came to light when Mangion spoke about it while in prison.

The third victim was Francesco Cassar, a 75-year-old man and his neighbor. This murder occurred on August 16, 1998. For this crime, Mangion was initially sentenced to 14 years. He revealed details about the murders during different interrogations and conversations with inmates.
