Bio

Ronnie Keith Williams was born on June 19, 1962. He grew up in a neighborhood where he faced a lot of challenges. As a child, he had a difficult time and was bullied by other kids at school. This bullying became a part of his early life, and it affected him deeply.

There are few details about his family background. It is known that he was a Black male, and he had black hair and brown eyes. He stood at 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed about 133 pounds. Little is recorded about his early education or interests. However, it is clear that he had struggles growing up that may have influenced his later life.

In his teenage years, his behavior started to draw attention. At some point, he was involved in serious criminal acts, including an indecent assault on a child when he was just 19 years old. In 1982, he pleaded no contest to this charge. After this conviction, he faced more legal troubles.

In 1984, he committed a violent act that led to the death of a young woman named Gaynel Jeffrey. He was arrested for this crime and received a sentence of 17 years in prison for second-degree murder and an additional seven years for child molestation. After serving only seven years due to prison crowding, he was released in 1992.

Ronnie Williams' early life was marked by hardship and troubled actions. These experiences would continue to shape his future as he navigated life after prison.

Murder Story

Ronnie Keith Williams committed his first known murder in 1984. He killed Gaynel Jeffrey, who was 21 years old. He stabbed her multiple times, dragging her body around the house before hiding it in a car. Williams was arrested and later sentenced to 17 years in prison for her murder. He also faced charges for child molestation, for which he received an additional seven years. He was released on parole in 1992.

His second murder occurred on January 26, 1993. Williams stabbed Lisashantill Dyke, an 18-year-old who was seven months pregnant. This assault took place in the apartment where she was living. The attack happened shortly after he had a disagreement with his girlfriend’s sister, who lived with Dyke. On that morning, Dyke made an emergency call to 911, reporting that she had been stabbed. When police arrived, they found her bleeding from numerous stab wounds.

During her time in the hospital, she was able to identify Williams as her attacker. Medical professionals rushed her into surgery, but she later died from the injuries. Williams was found guilty of her murder in 1996, but the verdict was overturned after issues arose during the trial process. After multiple trials, evidence including fingerprints, bite marks, and DNA linked him to the crime. In 2004, Williams was sentenced to death for the murder of Lisashantill Dyke.
