At some point in his life, he started using different names and went by many aliases, including the name "Pancho Aguila." It is known that he had a passion for writing poetry and often used his pen name while in prison.
In 1969, Solis was involved in a serious crime. During an attempted robbery of an armored car in San Francisco, he shot a guard and was later convicted of murder. He was sentenced to life in prison and spent 17 years behind bars.
In 1992, Solis was paroled. After his release, he took on the alias Julius Suave. He began a relationship with Heather Tallchief, a young woman who later became involved in a crime with him. Together, they had a child and went on the run following a significant heist.
Roberto Solis, also known as Pancho Aguila, committed a murder on a day in 1969. He shot a 61-year-old armored car guard in the back during a robbery in San Francisco, California. After the incident, the guard died, and Solis managed to escape but was later captured.
Solis was sentenced to life in prison and served 17 years before being paroled in 1992. After his release, he began a relationship with Heather Tallchief, who later became involved in a significant crime with him.
On October 1, 1993, Tallchief, following Solis' instructions, drove an armored van filled with more than $2 million in cash, which she had stolen from her job at Loomis Armored. She left two co-workers inside the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino for a delivery. Once they were gone, she drove away with the money and Solis.

The couple disappeared and were on the run for several years. They had a child while in hiding. Law enforcement worked to catch them, and Tallchief eventually surrendered to authorities in September 2005, while Solis remains wanted.

Authorities later found the stolen armored van abandoned, along with some of Solis' belongings. Despite the passing years, Solis has not been located and is still at large.
