Richard Biegenwald was born on August 24, 1940, in Staten Island, New York. His early years were troubled, with a difficult home life. Richard's father was abusive, and his mother struggled to provide stability for the family. This turbulent environment affected Richard deeply.

As a young boy, Richard exhibited behavioral problems and struggled in school. He often acted out and got into trouble. By the time he was eleven, he was already involved in petty crimes and was sent to a reform school for the first time.

Richard's teenage years were marked by escalating criminal behavior. He continued to have run-ins with the law and was sent to various juvenile detention centers.

murder story

Richard Biegenwald's life of crime began early and escalated quickly. He committed his first murder at the age of 18 when he killed a gas station attendant during a robbery. After serving a prison sentence, he was released but soon returned to his violent ways.

Throughout the 1980s, Biegenwald embarked on a killing spree in New Jersey. His victims included young women, whom he often lured with the promise of drugs or money. His crimes were brutal and calculated, leaving a trail of fear and devastation.

Biegenwald's reign of terror came to an end in 1983 when he was arrested after a tip-off led police to his home. During the search, authorities found weapons, drugs, and evidence linking him to several murders. He was convicted of five murders, although he was suspected of many more.

Sentenced to death, Biegenwald spent the rest of his life in prison. His death sentence was eventually commuted to life imprisonment. Richard Biegenwald died of natural causes on March 10, 2008, while still in prison.
