Bio

Reynaldo Goria Rondon was born on January 6, 1949. His early life was shaped by his surroundings and family. He grew up in a community where he might have faced various challenges.

Before his crimes, Reynaldo had experiences and relationships that influenced his behavior. It is known that as he grew older, he became acquainted with other individuals involved in criminal activities.

It is clear that he lived in Lake County, Indiana, where he eventually committed his crimes. As he grew older, his interactions with others and his decisions would lead him down a very different road.

Murder Story

On October 11, 1984, Reynaldo Goria Rondon committed murder in Lake County, Indiana. His victim was an 82-year-old man named Francisco Alarcon. Alarcon was found dead in the bathroom of his home. He had been stabbed 15 times, and there was a trail of blood leading from the living room to the bathroom.

Evidence showed that the night of the murder, Rondon, along with another man named Martinez Chavez, had plans to rob Alarcon. They were overheard discussing the robbery and had stated that they would kill him if they were caught. A man named Everette Amiotte drove them to a location near Alarcon's home. While Amiotte waited in the car, Rondon and Chavez went to Alarcon's house. They returned about 20 minutes later.

After the murder, Rondon was identified driving Alarcon's stolen car. The following day, he told his girlfriend to hide two knives. When authorities searched Rondon's home, they found blood-stained money and dog tags belonging to Alarcon.

Rondon was convicted of murder and felony murder. He was sentenced to death on May 10, 1985. However, on August 2, 2000, a plea agreement was reached. The state withdrew its request for a death sentence, and Rondon was resentenced to 55 years in prison.
