Bio

Petrus Madiba was born in 1984 in South Africa.

Murder Story

Petrus Madiba was responsible for a series of murders in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, South Africa, between March and September 2012. He killed a total of nine victims, which included eight women and one baby. His method of murder involved strangulation. Madiba lured many of his victims under false pretenses, often promising them work. Once he gained their trust, he would rob and then strangle them.

The victims of Madiba were from various backgrounds. Some families reported that they were searching for their loved ones, who had gone missing after meeting Madiba. The authorities linked him to several cases as he was already on bail for a previous murder charge at the time of his killing spree.

After his arrest in September 2012, the investigation revealed a pattern in the way he targeted vulnerable women. It became evident that he used manipulation to draw his victims in before committing his crimes. He confessed to the murders during court proceedings, saying he felt provoked by the actions of his victims. This statement was met with skepticism by the families of the victims who argued that Madiba was not being truthful about his relationships with them.

In 2013, Madiba was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes. The judge noted that he would continue to be a threat to society. The sentence came after he had already begun serving 35 years for a prior murder. His claim of mental instability was brought up during the trial, but he was ultimately judged capable of understanding the consequences of his actions.
