Nikolai Vasilievich Chigirinsky was born on July 17, 1983, in Pervouralsk, a city in Russia. His father worked as a security guard at a plant, and his mother was a butcher. Growing up, Chigirinsky had some difficulties. While he was still in school, he started to steal. He was caught trying to steal from a local food store. After this incident, he was registered with the Inspectorate for Juvenile Affairs.
Reports suggest he had been registered with a psychiatrist, indicating he may have had mental health issues. Some sources even mention he experienced a birth trauma related to his nervous system. Despite these difficulties, he continued his education and graduated from the 9th grade, focusing on becoming a mechanic. His training involved learning how to repair metallurgical equipment.
After finishing school, Chigirinsky worked for one and a half years at the Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant. However, he lost this job due to staff reductions and had to find new work. As a result of his low salary, he moved back in with his parents.
murder story
On July 3, 2005, Nikolai Vasilievich Chigirinsky committed his first murder. He lured a girl named Anya into a nearby forest. After killing her, he burned her clothes and buried her body close to a pedestrian walkway. The next day, Anya's family reported her missing to the police. Her murder went unsolved for some time. In 2006, Chigirinsky returned to the site where he buried Anya. He dug up her corpse and removed her head. However, the body was not discovered until he was later arrested.
On September 19, 2008, Chigirinsky killed again. The body of another victim was found 15 meters from the railroad tracks on Yekaterinburg-Shalya road. This victim had also been raped and strangled. Chigirinsky had ripped open her abdomen with a knife and burned her clothes.
His final murder occurred on May 28, 2009. The victim's parents discovered her body in their basement while seeing Chigirinsky leave the cellar. He was quickly apprehended, and his possession of the victim's mobile phone provided further evidence against him. After these crimes, he was sentenced to life imprisonment. The Supreme Court of Russia upheld the sentence without changes. Currently, he is serving his time in Snowflake prison.
