murder story

On December 3, 1987, Nikolai Arkadievich Dudin shot and killed his father, Arkady Dudin, using a sawed-off shotgun. For about a year, his father's body remained hidden. In 1988, Nikolai was arrested for rape. He confessed to killing his father during this arrest. Because he was only 14 years old when he committed this crime, he received a reduced sentence of 7 years. While in prison, he faced many penalties for disobeying the rules. He tried to organize a riot and attempted to kill another prisoner. These actions led to a conviction for attempted murder. He was released from prison in 2000, after serving 12 years.

Nikolai’s next murder took place on February 15, 2002. He killed an employee of the Furmanov telecommunications company while intoxicated. He struck her with a hard object on the head, causing her death. On the same day, he murdered two female employees of a local sewing shop. After they rejected his flirtations, he stabbed them, inflicting 28 and 32 stab wounds on each.

During the May holidays in 2002, Dudin continued his killing spree. On the night between May 1 and May 2, a woman went missing, and her body was found later. On May 8, he committed a triple murder at a house on Kremlyovskaya Street. He shot the owner, Andrei Polozov, and then killed his wife and daughter. On May 10, he committed another triple murder under similar circumstances, causing widespread panic in the city.

On July 17, 2002, Nikolai was caught in the act of attempting yet another murder. On August 6 of the same year, he wrote a confession, stating that he killed people who had humiliated him. In December 2003, he was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Ivanovo District Court. The Supreme Court of Russia upheld this sentence. He is currently serving his life sentence in White Swan prison.
