Bio

Nicola Sapone was born on January 28, 1977, in Italy. He grew up in a small town near Milan. Not much is known about his early childhood or family life, but he was deeply interested in music, particularly heavy metal. This interest would later play a significant role in his life and the lives of his friends.

As a teenager, Nicola became involved with a group of friends who shared similar interests in music and lifestyle. They often gathered at local hangouts, where they listened to heavy metal music and discussed various topics. Over time, the group began to explore darker themes related to music and culture, including interests in the occult and satanic rituals.

Nicola was known as one of the leaders within this group. He developed close relationships with other members, including Andrea Volpe and Mario Maccione. They often spent time together listening to music and participating in rituals they believed were connected to their interests. Their fascination with the occult grew, leading to a significant shift in their behavior and activities.

As Nicola navigated his teenage years, he became more entrenched in the group's beliefs and practices. This shift marked the beginning of a very dark chapter in his life and the life of those around him. The bonds formed during these years would have lasting and tragic consequences.

Murder Story

In January 1998, Nicola Sapone and his friends committed a double murder near Somma Lombardo, Italy. The victims were Fabio Tollis, a 16-year-old student, and his girlfriend, Chiara Marino, a 19-year-old shop assistant. The group was part of a satanic cult known as the Beasts of Satan. They lured Fabio and Chiara into the woods under false pretenses. After a night of drinking and listening to heavy metal music, the couple was brutally killed. Fabio fought back, but he and Chiara were ultimately stabbed and beaten by Sapone and his accomplices. Their bodies were buried in a makeshift grave in the woods.

In January 2004, the cult committed a third murder. This time, the victim was Mariangela Pezzotta, a 27-year-old shop assistant and the girlfriend of group member Andrea Volpe. She was invited to dinner but was shot after a violent altercation. After realizing she was still alive, Volpe and Sapone attempted to conceal her by burying her in a greenhouse. The events surrounding her death led investigators to the earlier murders of Fabio and Chiara.

After Mariangela's body was discovered, police connected the dots and arrested several cult members. Mario Maccione, another member, confessed to participating in the murders, revealing details about how they occurred. Maccione stated that he had beaten Fabio to death with a hammer after Sapone and Volpe had stabbed him. The investigation also examined the death of a drummer named Andrea Bontade, who died by suicide, believed to be pressure from the group regarding their violent acts.

In 2005, several members of the cult faced trial for their roles in these brutal murders. Nicola Sapone was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison, along with other group members who received varying sentences based on their involvement. The case shocked Italy and raised alarms about the influence of satanic cults among the youth, prompting discussions about the need for better monitoring and interventions regarding cult activities.
