Nenad Mišović arrived in Sweden in 2002 as a Serbian national involved in organized crime back in Serbia. To evade arrest, he moved to Sweden. There, he was recruited by Rade Kotur to carry out criminal activities, specifically tasks involving violence and murder. At Kotur’s behest, Mišović carried out an attempted murder in Fisksätra in 2002, followed by the killing of prominent underworld figure Ratko Đokić in May 2003. He was later prosecuted in Sweden for these crimes.

murder story

In 2002, Mišović participated in an attempted murder in Fisksätra, as part of a retaliatory scheme organized by gangster Rade Kotur. He targeted a man in that Stockholm suburb—survived the attack—but Mišović was linked to the crime.

The following year, in May 2003, Mišović executed a contract killing of Ratko “Cobra” Đokić, a Montenegrin-Swedish crime boss. The murder occurred in Skärholmen, Stockholm. Following these events, Mišović was arrested and ultimately sentenced to life imprisonment for the Đokić murder. During his trial, he initially denied cooperation, but eventually confessed to law enforcement that he had been recruited by Kotur for both the Đokić murder and the earlier Fisksätra attack.

In August 2008, Mišović and Kotur were jointly tried for the Fisksätra murder attempt, during which Mišović retracted (recanted) his earlier statement that Kotur had ordered the hits. He passed away on July 21, 2021, while serving his sentence in Norrtälje prison in Sweden.
