murder story

Nathaniel White's first murder occurred on March 25, 1991. He killed Juliana Frank, a 29-year-old pregnant woman. Her body was found on abandoned railroad tracks in Middletown. White watched a scene from the movie "RoboCop 2," which inspired him to commit this crime.

After serving a short time for a previous conviction, White was paroled in April 1992. Shortly after, at the end of June, he killed Christine Klebbe. She was just 14 years old and was the niece of White's girlfriend. Christine disappeared on June 1, and her family reported her missing on July 1. Her remains were discovered on August 4.

On July 10, the same year, White murdered Laurette Huggins Reviere, a 34-year-old mother of three. Police found her dead in her home in Middletown. She was packing to return to her home country when she was killed.

Then, on July 20, White met cousins Angelina Hopkins and Brenda L. Whiteside at a bar in Poughkeepsie. They were last seen leaving with him. Their bodies were later found on August 4 in a wooded area, along with Adriane Hunter. Adriane was stabbed to death on July 30. Her body was found near the remains of the Hillcrest Manor Restaurant in Goshen.

The investigation into these crimes began when the body of Adriane Hunter was discovered. Authorities started to connect the murders of the other women. White was arrested on August 2 after being identified by a witness. He confessed to the killings and led the police to where he hid the bodies on August 4.

On August 7, a grand jury indicted White for Christine Klebbe's murder. Over time, charges for five additional murders were added. In total, he faced six counts of second-degree murder. His trial concluded with a conviction on April 14, 1993. Nathaniel White received a sentence of 150 years to life in prison and is currently held at Elmira Correctional Facility.
