Nasra Yussef Mohammad al-Enezi was born in 1986 in Kuwait. Details about her early life remain largely undisclosed. She entered into marriage with a Kuwaiti man, but their relationship deteriorated, leading to a divorce. Subsequently, her ex-husband decided to remarry, an event that became a pivotal point in al-Enezi's life.
murder story
On August 15, 2009, during her ex-husband's wedding ceremony in Oyoun, Jahra Governorate, Kuwait, Nasra al-Enezi committed a devastating act of arson. Seeking revenge for her ex-husband's remarriage, she poured petrol around the women's wedding tent and set it ablaze. The fire rapidly consumed the tent, which had only one exit and did not meet fire safety regulations, trapping many inside.
The inferno resulted in the deaths of 57 individuals, including women and children, and injured approximately 90 others. Al-Enezi was arrested the following day and confessed to the crime. In March 2010, she was found guilty of premeditated murder and arson, receiving a death sentence. After several years on death row, Nasra al-Enezi was executed by hanging on January 25, 2017.
