Bio

Mustafa Askia Raheem was born on May 21, 1979. He grew up in Riverdale, Georgia. As a young man, he faced significant challenges. He reportedly encountered issues with the law during his teenage years. By age 15, he had carried a weapon on school grounds, which suggested some early signs of trouble. At age 17, he was involved in a car theft and fled from the police, indicating a pattern of delinquent behavior.

As he transitioned into adulthood, it became clear that he struggled with various personal issues. Reports indicate that he had interactions with mental health services, but specifics on these experiences are sparse. After turning 18, he became more entrenched in criminal activity, leading to a criminal lifestyle.

Murder Story

On April 1, 1999, in Henry County, Georgia, Mustafa Askia Raheem committed two murders. The victims were Miriam Diane Hollis and her son, Brandon Jamal Hollis. Raheem shot Brandon first. After the murder, he took Brandon's watch and keys. He then went to Miriam's house and shot her as well. Raheem placed her body in the trunk of her car.

After the murders, Raheem went to visit his girlfriend. He told her that he had a new car and showed her Miriam's body in the trunk. Later, Raheem returned to Miriam's home with accomplices and stole various items from the house. He also attempted to cover up the crime scene.

Afterwards, Raheem disposed of Miriam's body by burning it. Due to evidence gathered from witnesses and video statements, Raheem was arrested. His actions led to multiple charges, including murder, armed robbery, and burglary.

On February 19, 2001, he was sentenced to death for the murder of Miriam Hollis and received a life sentence for the murder of Brandon Hollis. Additional sentences included consecutive life terms for robbery and a 20-year term for burglary.
