1966Miloš Milošević was born on July 1, 1941, in Serbia. He later became known professionally as Milos Milos. In the early 1960s, he met French actor Alain Delon while Delon was filming in Belgrade. Delon later hired him as a bodyguard and stunt double. Milošević eventually moved to the United States and entered Hollywood. He appeared in the films Incubus and The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming, both released after his death.
In 1964, Milošević married Cynthia Bouron, and they had one child. He later began a relationship with Barbara Ann Thomason Rooney, who was estranged from actor Mickey Rooney.
In 1965, Miloš Milošević began an affair with Barbara Ann Thomason Rooney. At the time, Thomason was estranged from actor Mickey Rooney. Rooney was away from Los Angeles around the time of the deaths and was hospitalized in Manila while working on the film Ambush Bay.

On January 30, 1966, Milošević and Thomason were found dead inside Rooney’s Los Angeles home. Reports state that Thomason had been shot and that Milošević was found dead beside her. The weapon was identified as Rooney’s chrome-plated .38 caliber revolver.

Authorities ruled the case a murder-suicide. The official finding was that Milošević shot Thomason and then shot himself. Some later accounts stated that police believed the shooting may have happened after relationship tension or after Thomason wanted to end the affair, but the confirmed legal outcome remained murder-suicide.
The case attracted intense media attention because of the people involved. Thomason was Mickey Rooney’s estranged wife, and Milošević was a young actor connected to Alain Delon and Hollywood circles. Rumors later suggested that both deaths may have been the result of a double murder, but no official finding replaced the murder-suicide ruling. Those rumors should be treated as unverified speculation.
Because Milošević died by suicide immediately after the killing, he was never arrested, tried, convicted, or sentenced.
