Milo A. Rose was born on January 25, 1950. He grew up in Pinellas County, Florida. It is known that as he grew older, he faced challenges, including issues related to alcohol abuse.

At some point, Milo became involved with a woman who had a son named Robert Richardson. He lived with Robert's mother, which later became a significant detail in his life. His relationship with alcohol and other personal challenges likely continued to shape his experiences as he transitioned into adulthood.

Murder Story

On October 18, 1982, Milo Rose was involved in the murder of Robert Richardson in Pinellas County, Florida. Rose was living with Richardson's mother at the time. That night, witnesses saw Rose and Richardson walking down the street. They heard a loud noise that sounded like breaking glass. The witnesses then noticed Richardson lying on the ground with Rose nearby.

Rose picked up a concrete block and struck Richardson on the head multiple times. Witnesses claimed they clearly saw Rose and described him raising the block over his head and bringing it down five or six times. Shortly after the incident, two people who knew Rose picked him up while he was hitchhiking. During the ride, Rose admitted to killing Richardson.

Police arrested Rose later that night at the apartment he shared with Richardson’s mother. On October 26, 1982, he was indicted for first-degree murder. His trial began in 1983, and by June 30, 1983, he was found guilty. At sentencing on July 8, 1983, Rose received the death penalty for the murder of Robert Richardson.
