murder story

Marjorie Ann Orbin murdered her husband, Jay Orbin, on or about September 8, 2004. This date was significant as it was around the time of Jay's 45th birthday. Jay was a jewelry dealer who had returned home to Phoenix after a business trip to Florida. He was last seen alive when he arrived at his home on September 8.

After Jay's disappearance, police investigated the case. They believed that Marjorie had shot and killed him in an attempt to hide her affairs with other men and to gain his money. Following the murder, she reportedly dismembered his body using jigsaw blades. The investigation led to the discovery of Jay's torso in a plastic container on the outskirts of Phoenix on October 23. The rest of his remains were never found.

Marjorie was arrested and put on trial for the murder. The trial lasted for eight months, and in 2009, she was convicted of killing her husband. On October 1, 2009, she was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Currently, she is serving her sentence at the Arizona State Prison Complex – Perryville.
