María del Carmen González Valenzuela was born in 1918 in El Salto de Juanacatlán, Jalisco, Mexico. She was one of several children in the González Valenzuela family, raised under the strict and abusive authority of their father, Isidro Torres, a local policeman. The oppressive environment, marked by severe restrictions and punishments, led the family to relocate to San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato, following Isidro's involvement in a fatal shooting incident.

murder story

Alongside her sisters—María Delfina, María Luisa, and María de Jesús—María del Carmen was instrumental in establishing and operating a prostitution ring based at "Rancho El Ángel." The sisters employed deceptive tactics to recruit young women, whom they then subjected to forced drug addiction, physical abuse, and coerced prostitution. Victims who became ill, were deemed unattractive, or were no longer profitable were murdered through various means. The sisters' crimes were exposed in 1964 when a police investigation uncovered numerous bodies on their property.

María del Carmen was arrested, convicted of multiple charges including murder and human trafficking, and sentenced to 40 years in prison. She died of cancer in 1969 while still incarcerated.
