June 18, 1998Lindsay Robert Rose was born in 1955 in New South Wales, Australia. During his youth, he engaged in activities that were not always productive.
As he entered adulthood, Rose became involved in activities that eventually led him into a life of crime. He began working as a contract killer, which is a serious type of crime. His actions led to significant consequences, and he became known for his role in multiple murders over a span of ten years, from 1984 to 1994.
Rose's life took a drastic turn when he was caught and convicted of his crimes. On June 18, 1998, he pleaded guilty to five murders. Following this, he was sentenced to five consecutive life terms in prison without the possibility of parole on September 3, 1998.
Since then, he has served time in a high-risk management unit within Goulburn Jail, where he has expressed dissatisfaction with various prison conditions.
Lindsay Robert Rose is an Australian murderer from New South Wales. He committed five murders between 1984 and 1994. On February 14, 1994, he shot and killed Fatma Ozonal and then shot and stabbed his ex-girlfriend Kerrie Pang. These murders took place at Pang's massage parlour called "Kerrie's Oasis" in Gladesville. Ronald Waters helped Rose by knocking on the door to enter, as Pang would have recognized Rose.

The murder of Kerrie Pang was arranged by her partner, Mark Lewis. Lewis was later found guilty of both murders and received a life sentence plus additional years for his role. Waters was sentenced to 18 months of periodic detention for being an accessory to the murders. It was revealed during Lewis' trial that the motive for Pang's murder involved issues in their relationship and Lewis' dissatisfaction with her job. Fatma Ozonal was not involved in the plan and was killed by chance.

On June 18, 1998, Rose pleaded guilty to five murders in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He was sentenced on September 3, 1998, to five consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
After his sentencing, Rose became one of the first inmates in Goulburn Jail's High Risk Management Unit when it opened in 2001. Over the years, there were reports about Rose's unhappiness with the prison environment. In 2005, he expressed discontent about fellow inmates converting to Islam. In 2007, he wrote a letter to prison management offering to help prevent this conversion among inmates. That same year, he was involved in smuggling out complaints about conditions in the jail, mentioning the lack of education and poor teaching.
