Bio

Kevin Weaver was born in 1963 in England. He grew up in Bristol in a small, terraced house with his mother, Margaret, and his sister, Linda. His family life was mostly normal, but he later became known for his troubled relationships.

As a teenager, Weaver showed an interest in guns and had a membership at a clay pigeon shooting club. This interest would influence his life choices later on. He had a girlfriend named Alison Woodman, but their relationship ended, which affected him deeply. He became obsessed with her after the breakup, and this obsession would have serious consequences.

Growing up, he struggled with feelings of loneliness and seemed to have difficulty connecting with others. After his breakup, he spent a lot of time alone. His mother and sister were his main sources of support, but his relationships with them also became complicated.

At some point, he faced legal troubles. His gun license was revoked, but he managed to have it restored after his mother and others vouched for his character. This decision would later raise questions about gun control and public safety.

In the years leading up to the tragic events in October 1987, Weaver became increasingly troubled. He felt that people around him were hindering his goals and holding him back. His feelings of anger and frustration grew, leading him to make choices that would change his life forever.

Murder Story

On October 14, 1987, Kevin Weaver committed multiple murders in Bristol, South West England. He killed four people, including his mother, Margaret, and his sister, Linda. The attacks began in the morning when he entered his sister's room. Weaver used a heavy hammer to strike Linda multiple times. Afterward, he waited for his mother to return home and killed her as well.

After the murders of his family members, Weaver hid their bodies in the bathtub and attempted to create a scene to deceive the authorities. He turned on the gas taps in the house and set a trap using a detonator mine. Then, he gathered three shotguns and a large amount of ammunition before leaving his home to find his former fiancée, Alison Woodman.

Girlfriend of Kevin Weaver.

At Alison's workplace, Weaver entered with his shotgun and began shooting. He fired at her coworkers, resulting in the deaths of David Pursall and John Peterson. After shooting, he threatened to kill Alison but ultimately spared her life, claiming he still loved her.

After a chaotic scene in the workplace, Weaver returned to his sister's car and left. He was later arrested by police while he was driving on a nearby road. Weaver was charged with the murders and, by March 28, 1988, he was sentenced to closed psychiatric confinement due to the nature of his crimes.
