Kenneth Regan was born in 1953 in the United Kingdom. During his early years, he became known for his involvement in local crime. Regan engaged in various illegal activities and soon found himself deeply involved in the drug trade. His life took a significant turn in 1998 when he was arrested for heroin smuggling and passport racketeering. He was sentenced to eight years in prison but was released early in the summer of 2002 due to his cooperation with law enforcement as an informant.

After his release, Regan faced a new reality. He had lost his previous lifestyle of wealth and luxury and was reduced to living with his father in a modest bungalow in Wiltshire. To regain his financial status, he sought quick and illegal ways to make money. Regan returned to the criminal underworld, trying to take over a freight company called Ciba Freight, owned by a millionaire businessman named Amarjit Chohan.

Before being involved in the drug trade, Regan had a complicated background. He was described as manipulative and self-centered, using people for his gains. His earlier life of crime included working with various groups and engaging in activities such as drug importation and money laundering. He often charmed those around him, including women, as he tried to regain the lifestyle he had lost.

In 2002, Regan started to work as a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driver for Chohan's company. This job allowed him to get closer to Chohan and gather the information he needed for his plans.

murder story

In February 2003, a tragic crime unfolded involving the Chohan family in London, England. Amarjit Chohan, a wealthy businessman, disappeared along with his wife, Nancy, their two young sons, and Nancy's mother. The family was reported missing after Amarjit did not return home from a business meeting, which turned out to be a trap set by Kenneth Regan and his accomplices.

Regan, Horncy, and Rees captured Amarjit and took him to a location in Salisbury, where they held him for several days. During this time, they forced him to record messages for his family and made him sign blank papers that they later used to create fake documents. The gang also kidnapped Nancy and her mother, Charanjit, along with the children, to ensure they could take over Amarjit's freight company without interference.

Following the abductions, the gang murdered the entire family. After the crimes, the bodies were buried in a field near a farmhouse in Devon. Fearing police discovery, they later dug up the bodies and moved them to the English Channel. In April 2003, Amarjit's body was discovered floating in the sea, followed by Nancy's body in July and Charanjit's in November. The bodies of the two children were never found.

Regan and Horncy were eventually arrested and tried. The trial was highly publicized and lasted several months due to its shocking nature. On July 1, 2005, both men were convicted of murder and received whole life sentences, meaning they would never be eligible for release. Rees was found guilty of Amarjit's murder and received a lesser sentence.
