Hua Ruizhuo was born in 1973 in Shuangcheng, Heilongjiang, China. In 1993, he relocated to Beijing, taking over his retired father's position as a driver for a concrete mixing transport company. Colleagues described him as diligent and friendly, operating a white Samsung truck imported from South Korea.

In 1994, Hua entered a romantic relationship with a woman named Qiu Yan. After several months, he discovered Qiu engaging in intimate acts with another man outside a hotel, learning she was secretly working as a prostitute. This revelation led to their breakup and deeply affected Hua, fostering a growing resentment towards prostitutes. In 1999, he married a woman from Sichuan, and they had a son together.

murder story

Between 1998 and June 2001, Hua murdered 14 prostitutes in Beijing's Chaoyang District. He would pick up his victims in his company truck near the Yansha bridge during the early morning hours, negotiate a price, and drive them to secluded locations. After engaging in sexual activities, Hua would assault and strangle the women, using his hands or available objects, and then dispose of their bodies by burying them, discarding them in septic tanks, or wells. Some victims were found with foreign objects inserted into their bodies, indicating a high level of brutality.

Hua's arrest on July 26, 2001, followed the discovery of a victim's call records linking him to the crime scene. Upon searching his residence, authorities found incriminating evidence, including over 20 eyebrow pencils belonging to his victims. Hua confessed to the murders, expressing a deep-seated hatred towards prostitutes stemming from his past relationship. He was swiftly tried, convicted on 14 counts of murder, and sentenced to death by the Beijing Intermediate People's Court.

On January 31, 2002, Hua Ruizhuo was executed by shooting in Beijing, alongside several other violent offenders.
