Glen Edward Rogers was born on July 15, 1962, in Hamilton, Ohio. He was one of seven children in his family. His father, Claude, worked as a hydro pulp operator at a local paper company, while his mother, Edna, took care of the household.

Glen had a troubled childhood. He was expelled from junior high school before he turned 16. After leaving school, Glen's life took a difficult turn. When he was a teenager, his 14-year-old girlfriend, Deborah Ann Nix, became pregnant. They got married and had two children together.

However, their marriage was not happy. In 1983, Deborah filed for divorce, accusing Glen of physical abuse.

murder story

Glen Edward Rogers, known as "The Cross Country Killer" and "The Casanova Killer," began his series of crimes in the early 1990s. He was known for his charm and good looks, which he used to lure his victims. Rogers targeted women, many of whom had red hair, a trait similar to his mother's.

His first known murder was in January 1993 when the body of a former roommate was discovered under a pile of furniture near an abandoned house. In September 1995, Rogers picked up a woman from a bar in Van Nuys, California. She was later found strangled and burned in her vehicle.

Rogers continued his killing spree, moving across the United States. In November 1995, he murdered Linda Price in her home in Jackson, Mississippi, stabbing her to death in the bathtub. Just days later, on November 5, 1995, he was seen leaving a bar in Tampa, Florida, with Tina Marie Cribbs. Her body was found two days later in a motel bathtub, having been stabbed in the chest and buttocks.

Rogers's final known victim was found on November 9, 1995. Andy Jiles Sutton was discovered in her Bossier City, Louisiana, apartment, slashed and left on a punctured waterbed. Rogers's violent spree came to an end on November 13, 1995, when he was arrested in Waco, Kentucky, after a high-speed chase.

In July 1997, Rogers was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Tina Marie Cribbs. He was later extradited to California, where he was convicted of the murder of Sandra Gallagher in 1999 and also sentenced to death. Despite multiple appeals, Rogers remains on death row at the Union Correctional Institution in Florida.

Rogers has made various claims over the years, including involvement in other high-profile cases, such as the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. However, these claims have been widely dismissed by authorities and the victims' families. His case was the subject of the documentary "My Brother the Serial Killer," which explores his history of violence and criminal activities.
