Bio

Ginter Wiora was born in 1932. He was a Polish art student who lived in London, England. Details about his childhood and family background are limited. He moved to London, where he lived with his girlfriend, Shirley Marguerite Allen. They had been together for about six months and called each other partners.

Ginter had serious jealousy issues. He often accused Shirley of having affairs and believed she was posing for pornographic pictures. This jealousy created a tense atmosphere in their relationship. On May 4, 1957, Ginter and Shirley had a conflict that would lead to a tragic event.

On that day, Mrs. Doreen Dally, a neighbor, was awakened by loud noises coming from Ginter and Shirley's flat. She heard a woman crying for help and a scream. Concerned, she looked outside her flat and saw Shirley, covered in blood, trying to escape. Shirley was pleading for help, saying Ginter had gone mad.

Mrs. Dally helped Shirley into her flat and told her to lock the door. At that moment, Ginter appeared in the hallway, armed with a Samurai sword. Mrs. Dally went to get help, and police were called soon after.

Ginter's actions that day led to serious consequences. He was arrested on the same day and later found guilty of manslaughter. He was sentenced to twelve years in prison and was moved to Broadmoor the following year.

Murder Story

On May 4, 1957, Ginter Wiora killed his girlfriend, Shirley Marguerite Allen, in their apartment in London. The day started with a loud banging noise that woke a neighbor, Mrs. Doreen Dally. She heard a woman, later identified as Shirley, crying and pleading for help. Shirley was trying to escape their flat but was stopped by Wiora.

Shirley was seen emerging from the basement flat wearing a red dressing gown, with blood streaming from a head wound. She called out for help, asking Mrs. Dally to save her. Mrs. Dally managed to pull Shirley inside her own flat and urged her to lock the door. While Mrs. Dally attempted to call for help, Wiora emerged from their flat holding a Samurai sword. He attacked Shirley and stabbed her in the chest.

After the attack, Shirley ran upstairs, where she was able to get assistance and call the police. Officers DC Drown and PC Tennyson arrived at the scene. They found Shirley's body in the basement flat. She had died from a stab wound to the chest, and the bent sword was found nearby.

Wiora's flat was locked. When the police broke down the door, they found him lying on a bed. He had a chest wound and cuts to his wrists and was bleeding. He was taken to the hospital.

Wiora was arrested on the same day. He was later tried at the Old Bailey on July 25, 1957. His defense claimed diminished responsibility. The jury found him guilty of manslaughter and sentenced him to twelve years in prison. He was moved to Broadmoor the following year.
