Filip Kapisoda was born on April 3, 1987, in Cetinje, Montenegro. He started as a handball player but later found success in modeling. His good looks and charm made him one of the most popular models in Montenegro and Serbia. In 2006, he was named the best model at Belgrade Fashion Week, which helped him gain even more attention.
In 2009, Kapisoda competed in the Serbian reality TV show "Veliki Brat VIP All Stars" (Big Brother VIP All Stars). He finished in third place and became even more famous. His striking appearance caught the attention of designer Rocco Barocco, who offered him a chance to work in the international fashion industry. However, Kapisoda turned down the offer, choosing instead to build his career in Montenegro.
Despite his rising fame, Kapisoda had personal struggles. He was in a relationship with Ksenija Pajčin, a 32-year-old Serbian singer and dancer. Their relationship was known for being intense and troubled, with frequent arguments. Friends and neighbors later said they often fought, and their relationship was unstable in the months leading up to their tragic end.
murder story
On March 16, 2010, Filip Kapisoda and Ksenija Pajčin were found dead in her apartment in Belgrade, Serbia. Both had been shot in the head, and investigators determined that Kapisoda had killed Pajčin before turning the gun on himself in a murder-suicide.
In the days leading up to the tragedy, their relationship had become more unstable. Neighbors reported hearing loud arguments, and just a few nights before their deaths, police had to intervene after Kapisoda allegedly broke into Pajčin’s apartment by forcing open the door. Despite these warnings, the situation escalated to a fatal ending.
Police found the gun next to Kapisoda’s body, confirming that he was the shooter. The main suspected motive was jealousy, as Kapisoda reportedly had issues with Pajčin’s social life and career.
Kapisoda was buried on March 19, 2010, in his hometown of Cetinje, Montenegro. His funeral was attended by family, friends, and well-known figures, including his brother, handball player Petar Kapisoda, and Serbian singer Goga Sekulić. The next day, Pajčin was laid to rest in Belgrade, with many fans and celebrities mourning her loss.
The murder-suicide shocked the region, leading to discussions about domestic violence and toxic relationships. Some media outlets romanticized the tragedy, calling it the "death of a perfect couple" or comparing it to Romeo and Juliet. This sparked debates about responsible journalism and how society should address domestic violence and relationship abuse.
