Denis Sergeevich Pischikov was born on April 12, 1983, in Bulanash, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. He was born into a loving family, but he had a congenital disease. His childhood was mostly happy, but life changed for his family after the collapse of the Soviet Union. His father lost his job and passed away soon after. This left his mother, Lyuba Ivanovna, to take care of the family. She worked at the Artyomovsk radio plant to support them.

Eventually, Lyuba remarried an electric locomotive driver named Alexander Anushin. Unfortunately, Alexander struggled with alcoholism and did not form a good relationship with Denis. This affected Denis’s life and choices. He left school after the fifth grade and often found himself in trouble with the police. He faced charges for theft and hooliganism during his youth.

Despite this trouble, Denis appeared to be a modest and shy boy on the outside. In June 2000, he moved to Moscow. Not long after arriving, he attempted to steal a radio from a car and was arrested. However, he signed a document promising not to leave and managed to escape serious consequences.

Denis initially lived in the Vladimir Oblast with a friend. Later, he met a girl and started living with her. He held various jobs, including working at a tire store and in construction, but did not stay at any job for long. Eventually, he stopped working honestly and began stealing from the homes of elderly people.

murder story

Denis Pischikov is known for a series of murders that took place between 2002 and 2003 in Russia. His first murder happened on March 29, 2002, in the village of Pashnevo. He killed a pensioner named Lebedev and stole 3000 rubles from his home.

On November 8, 2002, Pischikov struck again in the village of Potochino. This time, he killed another elderly person and took 700 rubles. His next victim was on January 17, 2003. In this case, he did not find any money in the house.

Pischikov often took food from the homes of his victims, sometimes eating while at the crime scene. On March 18, 2003, he committed two murders in the village of Gubin. From these victims, he stole 950 rubles and a piece of sausage. Later, on March 31, 2003, he killed two more people in Korovino, stealing a total of 1120 rubles.

His last murder took place on April 3, 2003, in the village of Voinova Gora. He killed a pensioner and his 50-year-old daughter; however, she survived the attack.

Pischikov was arrested on April 5, 2003, in Likino-Dulyovo. A pensioner noticed him and alerted the police while following him. Pischikov was caught and began confessing to the murders during his transport to the police station. He did not express remorse for his actions and did not understand what else the investigators wanted from him.

In July 2004, he was sentenced to life imprisonment. Pischikov made a clemency request, pleading for anything but life in prison. However, the Supreme Court of Russia upheld his sentence. He was then sent to the White Swan prison.
