Murder Story

On December 6, 1997, Daniel Vitaver shot and killed three members of his family in their home in Weston, Florida. He shot his 49-year-old wife, Magali Regina, along with his teenage children, 19-year-old Cynthia and 16-year-old Eduardo. They were sitting at the breakfast table when the tragedy occurred. After killing his family, Vitaver turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.

The Vitaver family had moved from Argentina to the United States about six months before the murders, hoping to find a better life. Daniel was a medical technology salesman. At the time of the incident, he was experiencing significant financial problems, which contributed to his state of depression.
