Christopher Lunz was born on September 26, 1967, in New York. He was one of two children in his family. His early life was troubled, as he claimed his father was abusive, though these claims were never confirmed. Christopher developed a deep resentment towards his father, which would shape his later actions.

As a young adult, Christopher struggled with a crack cocaine addiction and got into legal trouble, including a three-year prison sentence for car theft in New Jersey. After his release, he moved to Sylva, North Carolina, in 1999. Despite his efforts to start anew, his past and addictions continued to haunt him, setting the stage for his future crimes.

murder story

Christopher Lunz started his criminal activities at a young age. In 2003, he planned to kill his father, David Lunz, to inherit the family’s wealth after his mother passed away. Christopher, along with his friend William Westerman, went to David's home in Palm Harbor, Florida. They pretended to visit, but once inside, Christopher hit his father on the head with a sawed-off shotgun and then handed the gun to William, ordering him to shoot. William shot David at point-blank range, using a pillow to muffle the sound. They stole some items from the house and left.

Two years later, the police linked a stolen revolver found near Cedar Cliff Lake to the murder, leading to William's arrest. William confessed and testified against Christopher, who was then convicted of his father's murder. During the trial, Christopher claimed that he hated his father for abusing him but was not believed. He was sentenced to life in prison.

While in prison, Christopher continued his violent behavior. In 2009, he killed his cellmate, Nathaniel Taylor, a convicted child molester, by stabbing him with a homemade shank. Shortly after, Christopher committed suicide in his cell, ending his life and his reign of terror.
