Antakin was from Borneo. He worked as a coolie. He lived in Gunsat's Kampong near Keningau in North Borneo.

Murder Story

Antakin was a Bornean mass murderer who, on May 27, 1897, in Gunsat's Kampong near Keningau, North Borneo, killed six women and nine men, three of them youths, and wounded two other women and a man.

According to reports, Antakin, a coolie, killed his wife Sumboh after finding out she had an affair with a man named Egah. He then rushed through the street stabbing people at random with his kris. He was shot dead by one of Gunsat's followers.

The named victims were Belawan (female), Bindong (male), Dingnat (male), Lana (male), Lapidan (female), Latam (youth), Pandong (male), Rumoh (youth), Sambing (male), Sindon (female), Sumboh (Antakin's wife), Tadauh (female), Telukhan (male), Tuangud (youth), and Umok (female).
