Bio

Andrea Volpe was born on February 7, 1976, in Italy. His early life is not widely documented. However, it is known that he grew up in a culture that had a strong influence from heavy metal music, particularly the more extreme genres like death metal and black metal. This music often featured dark themes that revolved around violence and the occult.

As a young man, Andrea became involved in the heavy metal scene in his area. He played in a band known as the Beasts of Satan. The group attracted a following among fans of the genre and immersed themselves in the heavy metal lifestyle. This included a fascination with themes of satanism and the occult, which was quite common among some heavy metal musicians and fans during that time.

Murder Story

In January 1998, Andrea Volpe, along with his friends Nicola Sapone and Mario Maccione, committed a double murder in the woods near Somma Lombardo in Italy. They killed 16-year-old Fabio Tollis and 19-year-old Chiara Marino during a drug-fueled ritual. They stabbed and beat the young couple, then buried their bodies in a grave in the woods. At first, the local authorities believed that Tollis and Marino had run away together, but Fabio’s father, Michele Tollis, suspected otherwise and began his own investigation.

Years later, in January 2004, Volpe was involved in the murder of his girlfriend, 27-year-old Mariangela Pezzotta. He shot her and later buried her alive in a greenhouse. After this murder, Volpe and his fiancée, Elisabetta Ballarin, attempted to dispose of her car in a river but ended up in a car accident, which led to their arrest. During the police investigation, Volpe confessed to the murders of Tollis and Marino, leading to the discovery of their bodies.

As investigations continued, Maccione confessed that he had beaten Fabio Tollis to death with a hammer while Volpe and Sapone had stabbed him and Chiara Marino. There were also allegations that another member of their group, Andrea Bontade, committed suicide after being pressured to assist in the murders.

In February 2005, Andrea Volpe was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his role in the murders of both the teenagers and Pezzotta. His sentences for the crimes were considered one of the most shocking cases of ritual murder in Italy. Nicola Sapone, the leader of the group, received a life sentence. Other members were also convicted for their roles in the murders and received sentences ranging from 24 to 26 years. The case revealed the influence of a satanic cult known as the Beasts of Satan and sparked widespread concern regarding youth involvement in satanism and occult practices in Italy.
