Bio

Alofa Time was born in 1951. He lived much of his early life in the United States. Little is known about his childhood or family background. However, his name is of Samoan origin, with "alofa" meaning "love."

Alofa married Theresa Lee Time. They tied the knot in December 2005. The couple had a tumultuous relationship filled with problems. They seemed to have conflict and jealousy issues. Reports indicate that Alofa was a very jealous man. Their marriage appeared to take a turn for the worse shortly after they were married, leading to allegations of domestic violence.

In March 2006, Alofa was charged with choking Theresa. A court issued a no-contact order to keep him away from her. However, Theresa later requested that this order be lifted. She had to attend a safety planning class before the court allowed them to see each other again.

Murder Story

On June 15, 2006, Alofa Time committed three murders in Idaho. He first killed his estranged wife, Theresa Lee Time, who was 47 years old. Alofa stabbed her, and then he beheaded her. He placed her severed head in his truck.

Later that day, Alofa drove his Dodge Ram truck into another vehicle. This crash resulted in the deaths of 36-year-old Samantha Murphy and her 4-year-old daughter, Jae Lynne Grimes. An 8-year-old girl, Sydney, who was also in the car, survived but was critically injured.

After the crash, police discovered Theresa's head on the road and her body in the garage of their home. Alofa was arrested on the same day and admitted to killing his wife. He was charged with multiple counts of murder.

In December 2006, Alofa Time accepted a plea deal. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for killing his wife and was sentenced to life in prison. He faced additional charges for the deaths of Samantha and Jae Lynne. In March 2007, he received a separate sentence of 45 years for those murders.
