Abul Djabar was an Afghan serial killer active during the 1960s, notorious for the brutal murders of at least 65 young men and boys, with some estimates suggesting his victim count exceeded 300.
murder story
Djabar's modus operandi involved targeting male victims, whom he would sexually assault and then strangle using a turban. His reign of terror instilled fear across Afghanistan, as authorities struggled to identify and apprehend the perpetrator. Tragically, during the investigation, two innocent individuals were wrongfully convicted and executed for crimes committed by Djabar.
In October 1970, Djabar was apprehended by Afghan police while attempting to murder another victim, effectively ending his killing spree. Following his arrest, he was swiftly tried, convicted of multiple murders, and sentenced to death. Djabar was executed by hanging on October 21, 1970, in Kabul Province.
